The Buckingham Decorative and Fine Arts Society is a member of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Society NADFAS which was founded in 1965 and now has a membership of over 200 societies.  BDFAS  has nine illustrated lectures held between September and the following June each year.  Lectures cover a wide range of subjects including architecture, painting, silver, furniture, ceramics and textiles.  The lecturers are selected mostly from the NADFAS Directory of Lecturers and are of a very high standard.

Recently we have had lectures on Turkish Miniature Paintings and The Book of Kells.  To complement our lectures we arrange specific visits, recently we have been to the Degas and the Hockney Exhibitions at the Royal Academy, London.

Lectures take place almost always at the Buckingham Community Centre   MK18 1RP on the third Wednesday of the month starting at 8.00 p.m If you are interested in joining the Society or would like more information, please contact the Membership Secretary or complete a Membership Application Form
